I dont think this game is very challenging (i.e. not a lot of strategy required compared to Field Runners). But what do I know...Im old! :)

i never wanna play any game after i beat the legend part i always grind for tokens and grind for real good items but maybe its really good if u can put it in playstation system like a a psp good luck ok
Defender Chronicles has perhaps the best replay value of any tower defense game on the iPhone. This is due to the fact that it requires a steady learning curve to complete the highest level, but perhaps even more so because of the "levelling" nature of the game - generals gain experience and skills, and every victory (and, to a lesser degree, loss) earns tokens which can be redeemed for artifacts which make the generals ("heroes") more powerful. The player decides where to invest tokens and skill points. The new version adds another hero and one more site.
Unique spin on tower defence and ability to get gear and level up hero is awesome. Challenging and fun at the same time.
I cant wait for an update with more content.
But update more because this is your finest game chillingo or make a sequel where you can import your hero from your old game. Really chillingo, this is your best work, dont care about other games, keep updating this one! :D

Below average tower defense game. You can play better stuff for free online.
Read others good reviews and boght it. Turned out that Im very Disppointed.
Do ur self a favor, grab Sentinel 3: homeworld instead.
This game is crap. I thought this game was awesome because it was by chillingo but when I played it was awful. I am usually fan of castle defense but this game is ridiculous.
Found it too difficult. Even in casual mode. More frustrating is that, I dont see any strategy to win.
In main menu, game suddenly shows white page stating "Page doesnt exist" and wont allow you to exit. A quick Internet search shows that others have been having the same problem for months.
Was A great game but been almost a year since the last update now its just boring and buggy and you have to play monotonously to make any progress. Its a shame it was a fun game Bottom line chillingo doesnt update their games
