I dont think this game is very challenging (i.e. not a lot of strategy required compared to Field Runners). But what do I know...Im old! :)

i never wanna play any game after i beat the legend part i always grind for tokens and grind for real good items but maybe its really good if u can put it in playstation system like a a psp good luck ok

Awesome app...no glitch and great playability!

Defender Chronicles has perhaps the best replay value of any tower defense game on the iPhone. This is due to the fact that it requires a steady learning curve to complete the highest level, but perhaps even more so because of the "levelling" nature of the game - generals gain experience and skills, and every victory (and, to a lesser degree, loss) earns tokens which can be redeemed for artifacts which make the generals ("heroes") more powerful. The player decides where to invest tokens and skill points. The new version adds another hero and one more site.

Makes the flights across country entertaining.

Unique spin on tower defence and ability to get gear and level up hero is awesome. Challenging and fun at the same time. I cant wait for an update with more content.

I will try and keep this short. I have put in over a hundred hours into this title. I cant think of many sixty dollar retail games that give you that much play time. Gimka has done an excellent job at supporting this game since its release, and the community around it is vibrant. This is the best tower defense title and the best RPG currently in the app store. I cant reccomend it enough.

This is a game where you place outposts on a 2D map. As enemies traverse the map to wreak havock to your base, they will either fall or overcome you. Its realy quite interesting. I havent realy seen any other games like it. This game has 9 stages so far. Each with 4 dificulty settings. There is also a random and endless mode for all stage, these too have four difficulty settings. There are two main hero units and 5 different regular outpost units which are upgradeable and even enlightened units who evolve from regular units making 3 more units. There are also in app purchasses for the lazier players like myself but they dont seem to work so you should mabey stay away from those until a patch comes through. This is a strategy game. If you are into these sorts of games, this is a good investment

Ive sunken half my weekend into this game after purchase. Looks great, sounds great and plays fantastic. I cant wait to have an HD version on my iPad. Though this one already has HD graphics, Im sure itll look great on both devices even now! Everyone should try this, its a must buy if youre even remotely interested in Tower Defence games.
